Signed and sealed and sitting not quite pretty, but I am sure I will manage to write
up something, there’s inspiration enough in the monsoons in India where the
whole country and countryside come alive in fifty million shades of green! Find

Loads of poetry going on in my life right now, it's kind of insane here trying to read/write for an online poetry course, and balancing the holiday R&R! But have managed to keep my head above water so far. Blogpost poetry taking a backseat though. So leaving you today with a pic not equal to a thousand words but definitely some poetry material hidden in there somewhere if one cares to look close enough. Have a wonderful week!
Love that bejewelled water droplet - which made me think of mercury.
ReplyDeleteAnd am soooo looking forward to reading the myriad of takes on the garden theme.
Me too! and mine's going to be veering into some strange territory as well :)
DeleteCool shot.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're finding balance and writing a lot of poetry. I'm sure you'll come up with something cool for WEP.
Not lots but just enough :) WEP is special!
DeletePlenty of inspiration in that photo! Love it! Thanks for advertising the WEP. I'm so excited that we're back in business, but I will admit my story took a very odd turn, but you go where the prompt takes you, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's some kind of wild waxy leaf that doesn't let the rain wet it - it's amazing to see the droplets just roll off :) Absolutely yes to what you said - you go where the prompt takes you even if it is the oddest corner of writingdom..
Deletedeep green and shining drop...is it a tear? Indeed, one picture can lead in so many directions. I'm sure your creative juices are overflowing. Good luck
ReplyDeleteOne word can lead in a million directions too...thanks for your wishes!
