Crumbed

Truth is never one,
unlike the solitary sun;
absolute, resplendent, sailing the skies.
More a scattering of stars
these crumbed truths of ours,
hard to pick out from the brightness of lies.

  1. Hi Nila .. I love your poems ... such fun to read and so true ... our truths are crumbed aren't they ... always bits falling off ... cheer Hilary

  2. I was having a discussion with an acquaintance recently about "universal truths". I reasoned, since everyone sees everything at least slightly different, there can be no universal truth. But, if that were true, it would disprove the statement itself because it would be one.

    Do you publish in literary magazines and books or do you just write here, for pleasure?

    1. It has to be 'multiversal' to be universal...can't wrap my head around that one!

      The blog is for pleasure and discipline and an outlet and keeps me saner than I would be otherwise :) a couple pieces published in anthologies/mags here and there..
