E is for Euclid

 is for Euclid

Euclid and the science of SMS

Euclid’s Elements was a most popular text

in the first millennium, and also in the next.

For two thousand years in a row

studied by students, and no,

not a single thing to do with phones or sext.

Since my D-post was humongous yesterday, I Elected to keep this limerick as short as possible.

And E is for Easy peasy : upto E the A-Z is Easy.  You don’t Even feel you’re on the challenge.  From F things take a subtle, Elusive turn.

The reading gets to you, you want to go on and on, but your Eyes are falling flat on their faces in the middle of the road, weaving drunkenly in and out of sleep, your Energy is Ebbing, leaking out between your fingers on the keyboard.

Yesterday as I was reading however, I also came across a post, based Essentially on Entertaining strangers and so hosting angels unaware. And it was so well-written, a thing of Exceptional beauty - it moved me greatly. You never know what you will find on an A-Z day, where you will strike gold, and how it can lift your mood on to a different plane altogether, restoring your Enthusiasm

Enthusiastic, Enquiring, Engaged and Ever-ready to read! That’s the Elixir that can keep Everyone going over the bumps and humps of J and Q and onto the last, most dreaded high altitude horrors of X to Z.

(And there goes my non-resolution not to Endlessly Edit my posts once done!! Can’t stop tinkering. Once a pantser always a pantser... sigh…)

  8. I agree, after the first week it gets harder to keep up with visiting new blogs and returning visits to those who have commented on your own blog.
I am determined to keep going with visits this year!

    1. It makes for less stress if one gets the writing done, scheduled or not is a preference. I have never scheduled any of my A-Z posts before now, always on the day or just the day before. This time I scheduled to max reading/commenting time, but four days it seems is my max limit for hands off stance..

      Best of luck!

    1. Oh, no, no no. The limericks are all written in advance! no pantsing there. The rambling addendum is the result of pantsing gone horribly wrong :) NOT good. I promised myself I wouldn't spend a second more than necessary on my own blog this A-Z..

Thanks for coming by and for the warm words! And welcome to my blogspot!
